Day 36

We had class this morning-nothing too exciting. But as we walked out of the building there was an ice cream truck right outside! Who could pass that up!? Um this "ice cream" is delicious. It isn't what you would expect though-not your run of the mill vanilla ice cream cone. Instead it is basically frozen whipped topping. Not the stuff in the bottle but the stuff that comes in the plastic tubs and it was so stinking good!
And..since the weather has been so nice we all wore skirts today..how adorable.

After class we went home for a little while to regroup and were hoping to go and do a "chocolate afternoon tea"..whatever that means. But it ended up falling through so we headed to SOHO..not sure what that really means either and over to the West End to walk around for a while. We ended up running into our favorite bakery, surprise surprise, so we had to get something. Turns out that almond croissants are the best thing in the world. We took our goodies back to Trafalgar's Square and ate them in the sunshine on the grass. Talk about heavenly.
Have you ever heard of crispy m&m's? They're gross. Don't do it. Everyone told Ashley and I how good they were and then when I tried them I could barely swallow it..I only ate one and who only eats one m&m? Pre-bite ^

Then we went shoe shopping for a little while and I found some great finds! I think..

Thoughts? I bought them both but I don't know if they are dorky. The ones on the left are wedges..I guess I didn't take any others than that one shot so its not a very good view buuut..do we like them? Hate them? Thoughts?
Then..I tried street vender chinese food *gasp! I was actually really scared. No food poisoning yet though (knock on wood) and it was delicious. I made my roommates buy and try it before I made any purchases..didn't want to just go around being whimsical with my life!

Then we went to a backstage tour of one of the theaters over here-it was cool but reeeally drawn out. It was supposed to be a 45 minute tour and it ended up being an hour and a half! Yikes. We had previously bought tickets for Les Mis as well for tonight so we were really cutting it close between the tour and the show aaand of course we got lost trying to find the theater but make it we did. I hid my crazy though and just fumed and panicked quietly to myself. The show was good! I'm really glad I saw it and I think it will be the last one that I see out here that is not required for my classes so it was a good one to finish it all off with!

  2. Haha in my mind it was tied to getting food poisoning by trying chinese street food. So dicey you never know the outcome? Not so sure now haha
