Day 3!

Day 3
Yesterday started out with the Shakespeare Walk around London. We took the tube and met our teachers at some random stop and then walked to Temple Hall.
This is what the hall looked like. It was huge. The Queen has eaten there twice I believe. All of those little squares lining the walls are plaques of people who have spoken in the hall.
I'm not actually sure what this is..I think it's a desk and apparently it is really important because the tour guide told me that I needed a picture of it, so there it is
This is one of the plaques on the wall-I probably shouldn't have posted it but I found it quite funny
Then we went to a church with these incredible stained glass windows. My teacher was telling me that between all of the window panes nearly all of Shakespeare's characters are depicted. It was so pretty!
As we crossed one of the streets I found this little gem! Isn't it so rad!?
All of a sudden I turned around and this huge building was there. No idea what it is but I think it's probably really important.

So then we crossed the bridge to see the Globe. This is where we will be seeing tons of plays and the original Globe is where Shakespeare and his troop would perform
This church is huge! And there was a service going on at the time so the choir was singing and it was so pretty! None of these pictures really show how rad these places are! Apparently you had to pay 2 pounds to take pictures but I didn't know that until after Khrystalle and I were walking out and she whispered it to me. Basically I'm a thief or something
So after we were done with the tour we went to Burough Market where they had all of these cute stands set up. Most of them were selling wine and cheese and meat but we found this one place..Marjorie's something or other so we decided to be adventurous and try it. I ordered bacon and eggs on a role, thinking that would be fairly safe. False. Pretty sure that bacon was cooked for 2 minutes. No thank you
So then we went to our first play! It was Othello and it was pretty far away from our flat. To get there we rode the tube and this is what greeted us when we got on! We were all packed so tight! On one of the stops a guy got on and made a comment about how packed it was, I laughed and nodded. Apparently he took that as an invitation at some point because he kept talking to me and cozied on up saying that we were playing sardines. I thought maybe he was one of those pickpocketers or something so I kept my hand on my bag and laughed a little and tried to move away. No dice. Anywho..turns out he was just drunk..not trying to steal my belonging
So we headed to the play at the Lion and the Unicorn Pub. Seriously it was held in a pub. They made us stand outside in the freezing cold until 3  minutes after the starting time and then when we got up there we found that it was in this little room, holding about 50 chairs, 39 of which were occupied by our group. The room was draped with white sheets, that was it. It was super low budget but still pretty good. I fell in love with the main actor. He was rather attractive
Just incase you aren't tired of pictures yet, heres another one of us after the play in the rain! Those are my two roommates. Me Ashley and Khrystalle
So then on the tube home I sat across from this rad guy. I've decided I am going to start taking pictures of all of the rad people I see. I think this charmer is going to be hard to beat!

Early this morning I was sitting in class and I realized my calf was really sore. And then I remembered that last night I had a dream that I had a cramp in my calf. Yeah that wasn't a dream. Khrystalle told me I woke her up with all of my whining and moaning last night..embarrassing and strange
