Day 4

Yesterday was way fun. We had class in the AM and then we were on our own! So we took a trip over to Buckingham Palace. It was really pretty and so big! But it turns out there isn't a whole lot to see around there. We walked around the palace for a bit but then there wasn't much else to do so we walked through Green Park which was just across the street.
So this is Buckingham Palace (is this the one posted on instagram? i cant remember!) Isn't it humongous!?
And this is me getting as close as I possibly can to it. I really wanted to take a picture with one of those guards with the crazy tall furry hats but it turns out that they are up against the palace, not around the gates. There's just lame police officers there. Some day some day.
This is the rad statue that was across the street sort of. I think it has greek gods on it but I'm probably just totally making that up.

So like I said, after good ol Buck we walked through Green Park and took the Tube to Primark. Primark is supposedly the best store ever. I walk in with these really great expectations and was sorely disappointed. It is basically a Forever 21 on steroids on Black Friday at 5am. It was freaking crazy! Seriously though, it was awful. There were a million people there and for some reason unbeknownst to me it was a million degrees in the darn store. Because of the extreme heat I had next to no desire to try any of the clothes on, but I decided I should at least give it a try. So I tried on a delightful sweatshirt because in real life London it is FREEZING and I only brought a windbreaker. Awesome. So I try on this sweatshirt, thinking it would be so cute and so perfect. Wrong. It had a very small torso and extremely baggy arms that were not only incredibly wide, but also far to long. And it was messy! And the people were very rude, even the helpers! Down with Primark!

So from Primark we made the spontaneous decision to go see Singing in the Rain and it was incredible! We got really great seats for a pretty great price just an hour before the show! It was so fun! It was just really rad..now I am obsessed with shows and want to go to one every night! Hope you wont get bored reading about them!
