Day 7

Yet another day of class today, and it was so darn painful to stay awake! Just one of those days. After class we hurried back to the flat to eat some lunch before heading out again to get tickets for a show we planned to see tonight. We got our tickets and then had a half an hour before we had to meet up with the class for a tour of the British Library, so..we decided to hit up King's Cross Station.
And look what I found! My wand! It just so happens that it is an exact replica of Ginny Weasley. Lucky me!
I also had the privilege of being claimed of the Griffindor House by the sorting hat! This is me just right before getting picked up by the Hogwarts Express. So excited for my first year at Hogwarts!

So from Platform 9 3/4 we went over to the British Library, I had high hopes of being really interested in all of the things displayed, but sadly was not. I really want to be interested in stuff like that but I just have the hardest time and that is a lot of what we go to see here on the study abroad! Rats. I'll get there hopefully.
After the library we came home once more and I collapsed in bed for a good hour and then made some ravioli. Turns out that their packaged ravioli isn't even as good as what we have in the states. Wont be purchasing that anymore!
On our way to the theater to watch our play tonight we stopped at the cutest little bakery. I got a chocolate eclair, feeling like I was being really gutsy here and oh my stars I fell in love! Have you ever had an eclair before? You should. They are delish.
Do you know how much self control it took for me to wait long enough to eat it all so that I could take a picture with that treasure!? I couldn't even smile normal it was so painful of a wait!
We went to see Mousetrap tonight, which is a murder mystery type of play. I was super excited because that is totally my thing but I was so disappointed! I could not for the life of me get into it! Hopefully the next one will be better because I was so sad!
Ohmygosh I have forgotten to tell you all so many things! So yesterday on our way to church I not only fell on my face in my hurry to be so athletic as I raced up the stairs to the train, but I also had the privilege of stepping garbage water as well! I'm honored, really. AND there is a girl in our study abroad who has pink eye! She got it from the tube! I am so paranoid that I am going to get it that my hand sani is always in use. I refuse to get pink eye. ALSO I have now begun to think in a british accent..a very strange experience.
